Create your own WordPress theme and then customise it. Add the hacks mentioned in the lesson CMS and WordPress part 3. Do some research on the Internet and find two more hacks and implement it on your site.
So this week we were supposed to create our own theme in WordPress. I didn’t know if we were supposed to edit an already made theme, or if we should make a theme from scratch. I made everything from scratch, but it was quite complicated so I didn’t add many features. It is just a bare bones theme with some basic WordPress-functions, and the most basic php-files. I then used Elementor to just add some content, so it wasnt just a blank page. I will upload the theme here, if you want to test it. I wrote the code in sublime text and used a local installation of WordPress via MAMP to work on the theme locally without crashing my other wordpress site.
