Take your theme that you have installed on your hosting account and customise it as per this module. Then I want you to find some WordPress hacks that you can use to customise your website even further. The main thing with this project is to not just do things for the sake of doing them. I would like you to explain the tweaks that you have made and your reasoning for adding certain features. Please upload a Word doc along with your assignment, so that I can see why you’ve made certain decisions.
So instead of uploading a word document, I have decided to just show the tweaks I have made and explain why I have made them here in this blog post. I have spent a lot of time adding all my content to the portfolio, and had some issues with using elementor. But I got it done in the end.
I chose to go for a WordPress-theme called Phlox. Inside the phlox theme, which I installed on my WordPress-site, I opted for a sleek, stylish template with much emphasis on images called «Portfolio».

So I liked the image grid, but I felt it was a bit much, so I changed the layout to a masonry-style grid, where there would be different sizes for the images, as I felt this would make the «collage» of different images more appealing and interesting. I also changed the logo, I made my own, changed the hamburger-menu into a more traditional menu and changed the font of the template from Roboto to Barlow. I opted for a boxed layout as I wanted to have more negative space on the sides of the grid, to make it less cluttered and more visually harmonic. I also changed the query menu, the one used to change the category you are currently viewing. I changed it to a more subdued, sleeker version that I felt fitted the minimalistic style of my website more.
I didn’t bother to crop the images properly, as you can just go to the site to see what it looks like on your browser. www.ragelius.com

Asyou can see, I changed the look of the footer completely. I added a rectangle in a dark blue color, added the logo I created for the website, and added social media buttons for easy contact. I think it just looks more appealing than just having nothing there.
For the other pages of the site, I didnt really change that much from the initial design of the template. I will probably change this sometime in the coming weeks:
