Loose juice logo assignment

So for this weeks learning activity, we were tasked with creating a logo for a fictional juice brand called «Loose juice» We were supposed to sketch out 15 different ideas, and then choose one of the ideas and create a logo in Adobe illustrator. Here are some of my quick sketches:

Afterwards I chose the sketch which I wanted to create, and made a vector-based logo in illustrator. I wanted to use simple shapes and a cutesy and fun design. I used mostly the shape tool and the brush tool. Here is my final image:

I then made a simple 3d-modeled composition to visualize the logos potential . As simple as this comp was, the rendering took longer than I anticipated, even though i’m working on a Macbook Pro. Here is the rendered image. I wasn’t really happy with the sharpness and low visibility of the actual logo on the carton, but as this was a learning activity I did not want to render the image a second time.
